A home away from home.
If you’re looking for a safe, nurturing place for your young child, consider St. Michael Playhouse. The first Waldorf/Steiner-inspired Daycare in the Philippines, we offer unhurried, loving care for the whole child – mind, hands, and heart.
St. Michael Playhouse addresses the needs of working parents who would like to give their young child a sound, safe, wholistic home away from home, or those who need qualified partners to assist in co-parenting their young child.
What We Offer.
Parents thirst for a better, more conscious way to raise their children. St. Michael Playhouse offers wholistic programs for children, invites resource speakers on child development and care, and organizes events and outings that bring the family together in healthy, wholesome environments.
Children play, sing, and eat together, and find security and comfort in consistency. They follow a daily rhythm that forms and strengthens good habits. Children are enrolled half- or full-day, and for a minimum of 3 consecutive days, Monday to Friday. Click here to learn more.
Held once a week, classes in the Parent-Child program are for children from 0 to 3 years old, accompanied by the mother or father. Click here to learn more.
In addition to a shortened version of the regular Daycare program, SMP collaborates with outside resource persons and offers short courses and workshops for adults and older children during the summer months of April and May. Click here to learn more.
Talks & Workshops
Part of the advocacy of St. Michael Playhouse is to reach out to more parents, educators, and other professionals to engage in discussions on the Steiner/Waldorf approach to child care. Click here to learn more.
Twice a year, at the end of each term in October and March, our parents and children explore farms and eco-resorts in a one-day outing. Click here to learn more.
